2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.
Position Overview:
Initial priorities of the position:
• Get acclimated with the daily operations, team and dynamic work environment with 36-holes.
• Develops skills to maintain a top 20 golf course including water management, fertilizer and chemical application, irrigation diagnostics and repair, course set up, and team management.
• Involved in all facets of our agronomy program including fertilizer/chemical application, cutting edge water management, irrigation diagnostics and repair, course set up, and management of a team.
Requirements:

Excellent communication skills.
High standards of excellence and attention to detail.
Flexibility to adapt to weather conditions, course events and time sensitive agronomic practices.
Willingness to learn and grow.
Team-oriented, willing to jump in to assist the operation in any and all areas.
Golf course experience is a plus.
Compensation:
$65,000 per year.
