apPIERierances in Lititz, PA is looking for barbers to join our team. We're a relaxed, family friendly business providing salon services to men, women & children 6 days/week. We are located on 2 Sturgis Ln. Look us up on Facebook.

Our ideal candidates are team-minded, self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Keep your passion alive by initially working 1 -2 days/ week, approx 8-10 hr/week and grow a clientele to20hr to 35hr/wk. Especially helpful if you have accrued cosmetology hours or are dual licensed, but not a requirement.

Maintain your creativity and knowledge of the hair & beard industry and enjoy a rewarding career bringing out the best in our clients. We have a variety of schedules available.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with services such as cuts, shaves, trims, shampooing, and hair styling
• Advise on service frequency and appropriate products for the client to use
• Answer the phone / schedule / re-schedule / adjust services when needed
• Help maintain cleanliness of salon and your station
• Follow the client journey format - will be provided when joining the team
• Keep abreast of new hair and beard styles, techniques
• Keep abreast of new professional products for retail
• Participate with marketing & advertising to walk-by traffic & through social media

Qualifications

• Previous salon/barbershop experience required - minimum 2yrs
• Current PA Barber license
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with salon scheduling software
• Familiarity with social media - facebook, instagram, nextdoor etc (make posts on your personal page, join groups)

Wage Range

• $12/hr (during orientation) || commission with tips after training (typically over $25/hr)
• Sliding scale commission associated with products sold - both thru e-commerce and in-salon
• You are welcome to increase your hours, once your chair occupancy has consistently reached 80% .
