Work with kids and their families to help students of all ages achieve academic success. GradePower Learning programs impart new approaches to learning, designed to last a lifetime. We teach students from pre-school to post-secondary levels how to learn, concentrate, listen, remember. But most importantly, to believe in themselves as they reach their academic dreams.

Helping kids realize their dreams and overcome school challenges is passionate work. Our Client Services Coordinator is part of an excellent team, here to help students find their way to a better school future.

Everyone on the team is an instructor. This person will receive the same training our coaches do. This will help the person in this position speak authoritatively with parents regarding who we are and how we perform. It will also help with managing schedules and being able to fill in when there is an absence.

This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online job. Relocation packages are not available.

This position is a day position, Monday-Friday. We open at 10 am, and there is some flexibility for hours. We are looking for full or near full-time hours. Some Saturday mornings/ early afternoon may be requested, but not required.

The successful candidate will be trained in our systems, methodologies, and approach.

Responsibilities (Position Details):

As the Client Services Coordinator you participate in the center's operations, including working with multiple people from center staff to teachers, to parents, and of course, the students! You will have the following responsibilities:

• Help inform inquiring parents about our GradePower Learning programs
• Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers
• Set up and administer assessments
• Establish and oversee student learning programs
• Liaise with members of the community (schools, sports teams, and local businesses)
• Maintain contact with parents and meeting with them to discuss their child's progress
• Ensure that the GradePower Learning philosophy is being maintained throughout the center
• Create a fun and energetic learning environment on a daily basis
• Effectively master the GradePower Learning Teaching philosophy as well as coach other teaching members of the team
• Substitute teach as needed

We encourage you to apply if you have the majority of the following requirements:

Education :

• Has university degree (Credits in Social Sciences, Languages, Math and Business preferred)
• Current college student working towards a four year program
• Strong secondary school mathematics skills are an asset
• Additional language(s) spoken is an asset - fluent French is recommended

Experience :

• Work in an educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies
• Work in a business environment is an asset
• Experience with billing cycles an asset
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, online communication apps)
• Strong phone skills and experience in customer service (experience in sales is preferred)

Job Type : Full-time

Salary Range : $18 - $22 / hour

Schedule :

• Evenings
• Monday to Friday
• Saturday availability
