Job Description

A North Austin Company is looking for an Inside Sales/ Account Manager to help their team develop relationships, follow up on opportunities/ leads, manage, and even close them to grow the accounts.

As an Inside Sales/ Account Manager, you will support the company and associates by helping them build/ expand their book of business, which will benefit you financially as well. This company is a premier provider of software automation services to the government. They are expanding nationally and are seeking dynamic individuals that know how to or want to get to the next level of their sales and client services career.

Position Expectations:

  • Ensures customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain healthy relationships with existing clients, soliciting new business through referrals, and ensuring clients' needs are met through communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Collaborate with different internal departments to fulfill client requests and keep track of all processes related to our clients utilizing the Account Manager Tracker.
  • Represent the company and clients, ensuring that their needs are met, focusing on enhancing clients' overall experience and asking for referrals.
  • Collects client behavior data to understand their changing needs and logs it on the daily tracking tool
  • Participate in product presentations and demonstrations at customer sites and tradeshows, often requiring travel with some overnight stays.


Their products are in demand in City, County, and State Elections, as well as Courts, Clerk and Tax offices across the country.

Must Haves:

  • Demonstrated collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving skills to achieve goals and meet personal and team KPIs and Metrics.
  • High proficiency in MS Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to provide outstanding customer service.
  • Possess a high level of integrity and trust.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to defuse conflicts.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to listen effectively and interact comfortably with constituents of diverse backgrounds.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Memorize scripts and then make them their own for calling on add-on business, asking for referrals, and new business calls.
  • Presenting presentations and explanations of the usefulness of the company's product suite.


Experience & Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional sales or services experience, either outbound or inbound setting appointments. (Tech sales preferred)
  • Travel is required 25% of the time to attend trade shows and onsite client presentations.
  • Reports to the VP of National Sales & Marketing
  • Team player, but likes to work independently


Compensation:

  • $43K - $60k starting base (depending on experience).
  • Raises after a 6-month hire date, and 1 year for performance
  • Total 1st-year average compensation: $60-70K and expected to grow annually with more clients.
