Overview:

• Location: Provo/Orem, Utah Area
• Status: Full-time, 100% onsite
• Schedule: Monday through Friday from 8:25 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Compensation: $18-23/hour (DOE) + generous benefits

As a Legal Copy Editor …

…you live for the beauty of a final product. You have the unique and important role of

developing and upholding standards of excellence in grammar, punctuation, formatting, tone and voice, binder assembly, and more. You have a keen eye for discrepancies and appreciate the fine balance of assuming there are errors while trusting your team members. You are the final set of eyes before a work product is put in front of clients. As such, you ensure the documents meet and exceed the client’s expectations, accomplish their goals and objectives, and empower them to leave behind a story worth reading.

Your Day-to-Day May Involve…

• Providing a detailed review of complex legal documents, supporting documents, asset transfer documents, entity documents, and required forms for accuracy, clarity, and completeness
• Proofreading and editing the copy and content of legal documents to ensure correctness of dates, information, spelling, and grammar
• Ensuring the end product captures the clients’ overall goals and objectives while accomplishing the recommendations of the attorney including federal, state, and tax law
• Printing and preparing legal documents for signatures
• Supporting and providing directional leadership to legal drafters to allow for maximum job satisfaction and performance
• Developing, improving, and enforcing documentation standards, processes, and procedures to ensure written documents comply with our guidelines
