Our Award-Winning Client , a nationally recognized leader in healthcare services, is seeking a Certified Lymphedema Therapist to join their expert team in Mission Viejo, California . With a commitment to excellence in patient care, our client operates across multiple locations, consistently setting the standard for innovative and compassionate rehabilitation services.

Position Overview:

This role focuses on delivering comprehensive patient care, including thorough evaluations, individualized treatment planning, and real-time adjustments based on patient progress. The therapist will coordinate services with other healthcare professionals and play a key role in educating patients, families, and peers. Additionally, this role includes opportunities for mentorship, serving as a clinical instructor for students and interns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patient assessments, develop and implement tailored treatment plans, and track patient progress.
  • Modify therapeutic approaches as needed to align with evolving patient needs.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and the community on therapeutic interventions and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Serve as a mentor by supervising and training interns and clinical students.
  • Engage in professional development to maintain expertise and align with evolving healthcare standards.
  • Promote hospital initiatives and contribute to program development within the rehabilitation department.

Required Skills & Certifications:

  • California Physical Therapist License (Upon hire)
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (Upon hire)
  • 0-3 years of clinical experience as a practicing therapist

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Prior experience in program development or special project assignments
  • Experience serving as a clinical instructor or leading professional in-service training
  • Active participation in at least one community service event in the past year
  • APTA Membership (Upon hire)
