Job Title: Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery
Unit: Labor and Delivery
Shift: Night Shifts (2x12-Hour, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Location: Rochester, NY 14626

Responsibilities:

• As an RN in the Labor and Delivery unit, your role will include, but is not limited to:
• Providing care to women in labor, including assisting in the delivery process and ensuring the well-being of both mother and child.
• Monitoring fetal heart rates and contractions during labor and intervening when necessary.
• Collaborating with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Administering medications, fluids, and pain management as needed.
• Educating and supporting families before, during, and after delivery.
• Providing postpartum care to new mothers and babies.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Recent experience in Labor and Delivery preferred.

Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York required.

Certifications:

• BLS and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required, ACLS preferred.
